This is a site I created to play with WordPress and to generally communicate with anyone that has similar weird interests. I will attempt to document some of the hobbies and such that keeps our house busy.
Karting
Currently racing in the Briggs & Stratton Racing Series albeit not very seriously right now. Connor won several club championships through the years and most recently won the 2017 Briggs LO206 championship. Especially irritating was the fact that he beat me by 1 point for the championship – but nothing is more fun than racing with your son!
Vintage Audio
As I have aged (now 50 – OMG!) I have really come to appreciate some of the things I encountered that were clearly built to last and the things that really cause memories to come flooding back. For me, vintage stereo equipment seems to do the trick. Some of my earliest memories involve treks to stereo stores in the 1970’s with my dad. Stores with cool names like Cal Hifi in the San Jose area and Odin Sound and Team Electronics in northern Colorado.
Vacations
Since July 2010 our family has primarily looked to Disney Cruise and more recently Royal Caribbean for our vacation destinations. Our friends suggested we try cruising and we have never looked back. It does not get any easier than dropping your luggage at the local airport and then finding them in your stateroom after your first onboard feeding..
